Account & Settings

Learn how to manage your account, customize your profile, and secure your data.

You can easily update your profile information:

  • Click on your avatar in the top-right corner
  • Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu
  • Go to the "Profile" tab
  • Update your name, email, and other details
  • Click "Save Changes" to apply updates

Your profile information is used for billing, communication, and personalization of your Furobox experience.

To change your password for better security:

  • Go to Settings > Security tab
  • Click "Change Password"
  • Enter your current password
  • Create a new strong password (8+ characters with mix of letters, numbers, symbols)
  • Confirm your new password and save

We recommend changing your password every 90 days and using a unique password for your Furobox account.

Customize your email preferences to control what notifications you receive:

  • Go to Settings > Notifications tab
  • Toggle different notification types:
    • Billing and payment updates
    • Feature announcements
    • Usage reports and tips
    • Security alerts
  • Set frequency preferences (immediate, daily, weekly)
  • Save your preferences

Note: Critical security and billing notifications cannot be disabled for account safety.

Yes! Furobox supports multiple languages and regions:

  • Language: Available in English, Hindi, and other regional languages
  • Currency: Automatically detected based on your location (USD, INR, etc.)
  • Time Zone: Set your preferred time zone for scheduling and reports
  • Date Format: Choose between different date display formats

Changes to language settings are applied immediately across all tools and interfaces.

Enhance your account security with two-factor authentication (2FA):

  • Go to Settings > Security tab
  • Click "Enable Two-Factor Authentication"
  • Choose your preferred method:
    • SMS codes to your mobile number
    • Authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy)
    • Email verification codes
  • Follow the setup instructions
  • Save backup codes in a secure location

2FA adds an extra layer of security by requiring a second verification step when logging in.

You can export your data at any time:

  • Go to Settings > Data & Privacy tab
  • Click "Export My Data"
  • Select what data to include:
    • Profile information
    • Generated content history
    • Billing and subscription data
    • Usage analytics
  • Choose export format (JSON, CSV, PDF)
  • Receive download link via email within 48 hours

Data exports are available for 30 days and include all your personal information stored in our systems.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Here's the process:

  • Cancel any active subscriptions first
  • Export your data if you want to keep it
  • Go to Settings > Data & Privacy tab
  • Click "Delete Account"
  • Confirm deletion by entering your password
  • Account and all associated data will be deleted within 30 days

Warning: This action is irreversible. All your content, history, and account data will be permanently deleted.

If you're having trouble logging in, try these steps:

  • Check your credentials: Ensure email and password are correct
  • Reset password: Use "Forgot Password" on the login page
  • Clear browser data: Clear cookies and cache
  • Try incognito mode: Test login in private browsing
  • Check email: Look for account suspension or security notifications
  • Disable VPN: Some VPNs may block access

Follow these security best practices to protect your Furobox account:

  • Strong Password:
    • Use at least 12 characters
    • Include uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
    • Avoid personal information or common words
    • Use a unique password just for Furobox
  • Enable 2FA: Add two-factor authentication for extra security
  • Regular Updates: Change your password every 90 days
  • Monitor Activity: Review login activity in security settings
  • Secure Email: Keep your email account secure as it's used for password resets

Never share your login credentials or log into Furobox from public computers.

Keep your billing information current to avoid payment issues:

  • Go to Plans & Billing page
  • Click "Payment Settings" or "Update Payment Method"
  • Add new payment method or update existing one
  • Update billing address if needed
  • Set as default payment method
  • Remove old or expired payment methods

Important: Update payment information before your next billing cycle to prevent service interruption.

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex)
  • UPI (India)
  • Net Banking (India)
  • PayPal (International)
